LEADERSHIP

JOHNSON AND JENNI

Johnson and Jenni are the Senior Ministers of HOPAM church across all our locations. Having met while working in Chennai, India, they now live in Darlington where they were married in 2004.

They were the founders of this ministry. In 2006, God spoke to them in their prayer time from a verse in the Holy Bible in Isaiah 56:7 where it says, ‘for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people’. It was from this verse, the name ‘House of Prayer Apostolic Ministries’, shortly called ‘HOPAM’ was birthed.

They both struggled a lot in their early days of the ministry. But now God has graciously given them an own place of worship near Darlington Town Centre, a church building formerly called ‘Eastbourne Methodist Church’, by the liberal contribution of their beloved members, especially Late Mr Joseph Houlahan, who gave a large sum of money to buy this place, to whom they will always be thankful to and dearly called by the members of the congregation as ‘Dad’.

Under their Leadership they have 4 Trustees in the Committee and 4 Deacons to carry out all the administrative work in the church. Ps Johnson and Sis Jenni are also pastoring another church in Newcastle, called as NCFI. They have been prayed and laid hands to be separated for the ministry by former Chief Pastor Late M K Sam Sundharam of Apostolic Christian Assembly (ACA), Chennai, India.
